Return to Parkistan
Monday, December 1, 2008

My buddy and sometime GenEric boy Jacksonio’s crew The Parkers have had some tees done to promote one of Jackson’s other enterprises, the indefatigably nang blog GURN.

By the way, sorry for the lack of posting recently, and the lumpy appearance. Normal service will resume shortly. Locked in battle with the CSS Mothra.

Yo we’ve just got these puppies back from the printers and they’re looking hella fresh, so – come get ’em from the store before thy’re gone forever, (or at least until we print some more).
Thanks to Sam and Crak for helping us out with the shoot. Crak writes filth on a blog called Gurn. Its well gratuitous, try it out here. I wouldn’t if I were you.

Well, they’ve been out for about 3 weeks, but here finally are some pics of our newest tee – the Nu Grave.

I’ll be blogging a little bit of what’s behind the print sometime soon. Meanwhile, get ’em while they’re hot!

Slip Mattatats
Tuesday, January 29, 2008

We’ve finally got enough slip mats in to have a few to stick on the website – they’ve been selling so well in some of our stores that we haven’t been able to keep them in stock. We’ve fired all of our stock control staff, so that’s okay.

GenEric SLIP MATS(That’s my hand.)

The slipmats themselves are very thin (like 1mm thick) but very dense, so you get really good control and feel – I should know; I gig with them two or three times a week. They come in a nice sleeve, which is exclusive to the website but is limited to 50 hand numbered pairs, so get ’em while they’re hot!Click here to buy from the GenEric online store.

Make shirts while the sun shines…

…or even when its sodding cold and overcast.

Yes, back in the chilly GenEric HQ today, and here’s what I’ve been up to over the hols – figuring out a new shirt. It’ll be ready in a week or three.  Nice.

Whilst clicking around, looking for records and the like, I happened upon a few little gems for friends and family this festive period (click the images to see the actual products on Amazon).

For starters there’s a UFO detector for Granny:

Or perhaps some Uranium Ore for Auntie Joan?

I know my Dad’ll be made up with some soil from Roswell

But if you’re looking for ideas for me, I’d really like a LJ421 Badonkadonk.

Yes that’s right, I’d like a personal land tank. After all, it does feature a fully armoured shell, a 400 watt premium sound system with a PA system that allows you to blast sound outside the vehicle, lots of exterior lighting, capacity for a crew of five people internally and another five on the roof, can be driven from within the armored shell or from an exposed standing position through the hatch, external camera coverage, plus optional extras including flame-throwers. Or you could always just get your loved ones a simply super Dead Astronaut T-Shirt from GenEric. Very festive I always say.

Broken Zombie Arms T-Shirts
Tuesday, December 18, 2007

We were panicking a bit today as we were losing (the three decent hours of) daylight and couldn’t find our MIA model for the Broken Zombie Arms tee (from this drawing I did, as blogged a couple of weeks ago), so we busted quickly over to Kensington Gardens and grabbed our old pal Jonny Breeze (real name – no shit) and snapped him in front of Joel the Fruit Guy’s cart. Phew! Jonny’s got some nutty tats, and the pics came out great. Cheers Jonny! BUY THESE TEES HERE!

Broken Arms Tote Bags
Wednesday, December 12, 2007

We got a visit from the delightful Issy yesterday, which happily coincided with the arrival of our new t-shirts and bags with the broken arms print I blogged a week or so ago. We couldn’t help chucking the two new arrivals together and getting some snaps for the blog and for the website.

If you are so inclined, you can BUY THE BAGS FROM THE GENERIC ONLINE STORE. T-shirts will be arriving there in the next day or three.

We used records to help the bags keep their shape when being photographed.
Issy wanted them. We said no…

… so back in the bag with it.

As Vice Magazine wrote about some totes we did for them:
“If you are a girl you are probably already using these canvas bag thingies. If you are a guy who plays records in East London you will probably have been using them for a while to cart all your Fleetwood Mac and Whigfield 12”s around in. It’s time for the rest of you to embrace them. The days of the rucksack are over. If it ain’t one shoulder we don’t want to know. They are great for carrying pretty much anything from laptops to records …”

A slice of cool available here.
