Stockhausen ///////// 1928 – 2007

We were very sad to hear yesterday that the cornerstone of modern music that is Karlheinz Stockhausen died on Wednesday aged 79.

My brother (Voltek) visited him a couple of years ago to discuss some kind of nutty sound-abuse plan    he (my brother) was concocting at the time. I’ve asked him to write a bit about it by way of an alternative obit and I’ll post it here when he gets a minute to send it over.
